An innovative public interest law and policy center, Impact for Equity addresses the structural racism and systemic oppression that has led to inequities and injustices in the Chicago region and Illinois, particularly for people and communities of color.
Impact for Equity sought new ways to identify potential donors, establish points of contact, brainstorm strategies for building relationships, inspire donors with the organization’s accomplishments, solicit, steward and repeat.
We first researched and analyzed current supporters and prospective donors giving to similar organizations. Next, collaborating with the staff and board, we expanded their thinking around connections, mapped out their roles in fostering relationships, provided training, helped them set their priorities and explored ideas for cultivating donors.
Empowered with robust prospect lists, fresh data on their donor base, and mission driven ideas for making donors feel engaged and valued, Impact for Equity leveraged their milestone 55th anniversary and positioned themselves for long-term growth.
